Nine Telecom provides cost-effective and reliable solutions across the whole range of Data Services, including:
- Broadband
Nine Telecom offers a variety of broadband services, with differing speeds to meet a full range of business requirements - with and without download limits. The Nine Telecom broadband service can be supplied as either fully managed, with a router included, or as a wires only product.
By working with a range of internet service providers (ISPs), including Local Loop Unbundled (LLU) operators, Nine Telecom can offer a choice of broadband services, depending on location, including:
- ADSL MAX
- ADSL 2+
- Annexe M
- SDSL
ADSL services require a suitable analogue line (which can also be supplied by Nine Telecom), but SDSL services do not require a separate analogue line connection.
All Nine Telecom Broadband services are underpinned by a first line support service, which is provided directly by the underlying service provider, to ensure the quickest possible resolution time for any problems that do arise.
Many existing broadband services can be migrated over to Nine Telecom, saving you money and providing an enhanced service.
- Direct Internet Access (DIA)
The increasing need for faster and more efficient Internet access means that broadband services cannot meet the requirements of many business customers.
With the expansion of web based business tools and applications, there is also a growing realisation that entrusting business critical processes to a single broadband connection represents a risk to business continuity.
A Direct Internet Access (DIA) circuit represents a sensible solution for an increasing number of business customers, often with broadband retained as a back-up service. Nine Telecom provides highly competitive DIA solutions with connection speeds from 2Mbps upwards.
By adopting a DIA solution, business customers can benefit from:
- Higher availability
- A more stringent Service Level Agreement
- Symmetrical upload and download connection speed
- Un-contended bandwidth
- Increased security
- Leased Lines (Point to Point Circuits)
Nine telecom provides highly competitive leased line products (point to point circuits) offering high speed links, with high availability and security. By working with a range of suppliers in a totally independent manner, Nine Telecom can ensure the best mix of service and reliability, as well as unbeatable pricing.
Leased Line connection speeds range from 2Mbps up to 10Gbps, thus catering for all sizes of business and traffic types.
The high availability and reliability provided by Leased Line connectivity makes them an ideal solution for real-time applications such as voice and video.
- Ethernet Services
Ethernet services offer high quality connectivity at speeds from 10Mbps per second upwards.
For business customers demanding higher bandwidth and faster throughput for bandwidth hungry applications such as data storage and replication, Nine Telecom provides a range of Ethernet products.
Nine Telecom Ethernet Services range from simple Ethernet single point to point circuits through to more complex multiple point to point networks. All these can be offered with specific custom built requirements.
With the increasing roll out of Ethernet First Mile (EFM) products, copper pairs can be used to deliver the service at a commercially attractive rate and with reduced leads times. Where available, EFM provides a cost effective and reliable solution for all types of data traffic, including real time applications such as video and voice.
- IP-VPN
Nine Telecom provides IP-VPN solutions that facilitate the use of the internet to provide access to data and applications between customers' sites and from remote locations.
IP-VPNs are typically deployed to enable business customers to communicate and share information with employees, customers and suppliers irrespective of global location. Nine Telecom can design IP-VPN solutions that provide security for the transmission of private data across public networks (the internet), by the use of tunnelling protocols, such as IP Sec.
IP Sec's flexible nature can facilitate configuration of secure connections between multiple sites, ranging from corporate headquarters to single home workers.
Despite the growth in MPLS Networks, traditional IP-VPN networks can still be a strong match with many customer's requirements and Nine Telecom can advise on the most appropriate solution on a case by case basis.
- MPLS Networks
MPLS Networks offer secure, private connectivity between sites, which can allow the transmission of all types of traffic (for example. data, E-Mail, video, voice) over a single network infrastructure.
Nine Telecom provides an MPLS solution whereby we deliver different levels of service to your more critical applications, such as real-time voice and video by applying QoS (Quality of Service) on the network.
All Nine Telecom MPLS networks are bespoke to ensure that the network is designed to meet individual requirements. This flexible and consultative approach to business allows us to cater for even the most demanding and complex of customer requirements.
MPLS networks are very secure and flexible in their nature, allowing for network based firewalls and network based Internet Access. This creates an environment that is not only extremely cost effective but is also extremely resilient and robust.
Access to MPLS Networks can be provided over different connectivity options - for example, Ethernet at the main site, Leased Lines at satellite offices and ADSL at remote locations, which makes MPLS an ideal choice for any size of business.
Nine Telecom can design add-on services to MPLS Network solutions, such as firewalls, internet access and SIP Trunk voice breakout, as well as connections to any hosted applications and/or servers.
- Co-Location
Nine Telecom recognises that the company website and database applications are extremely important to the overall running and performance of any business. Co-Location is a way of securely holding this vital information in a controlled and highly secure data centre. Servers and equipment are housed in a dedicated area within a choice of many secure Co-Location centres.
Nine Telecom provides a choice of either managing the co-located equipment in house, or outsourcing the management, providing the level of control which suits you best, backed up by the peace of mind in knowing that your equipment and applications are totally safe.
- Managed Hosting
For organisations that require a fully outsourced solution for data management and security, Managed Hosting provides the perfect option. Nine Telecom can design a tailored solution that specifically matches the requirements of the customer.
In a Managed Hosting environment, the hardware and equipment are supplied to bespoke requirements and responsibility for the integrity and security of the data is fully assigned to the data centre which is providing the managed hosting service.
Internal IT staff can retain access and control over the applications, so business processes are not affected.
Managed Hosting facilities are often built with multiple carrier network infrastructures also on site, which can enable rapid deployment of high speed bandwidth, to support data applications.
- SIP Trunks (MiLine)
Nine Telecom provides a range of SIP trunking solutions branded as MiLine.
A SIP Trunk is an IP based alternative to the traditional inbound and outbound PSTN and ISDN connections from a customer's PABX to the national, international and mobile telecoms networks.
MiLine solutions are increasingly used to provide resilience in the event of a failure in the PSTN or ISDN connectivity and vice versa. Automatic failover can be preconfigured, so users will be unaware of any loss of service.
Nine Telecom can offer standalone MiLine solutions, or SIP trunks which provide voice network access, as part of a multi site data network solution, where the available bandwidth makes so-called SIP breakout a logical choice.
MiLine can be provided over a variety of different mechanisms, including; xDSL, Leased Line and Ethernet.
MiLine interoperability with an IP PABX is a key consideration and Nine Telecom can offer direct SIP Trunk connection across a wide range of modern PABXs from vendors that include MItel, Panasonic, Avaya, NEC and many others, without the need for an expensive protocol converter gateway.
SIP trunks can also be used to provide access to network based applications such as call recording and conferencing.
Our Data Services solutions cater for all sizes of company, from SMEs to larger corporate organisations.
Nine Telecom is totally independent, which allows products and services from multiple network operators to be selected in order to provide the best combination of service and price.
Using a consultative approach, Nine Telecom is able to deliver customised solutions, which provide the best match with the customer's requirements.
Nine Telecom provides the option of fully managed solutions, incorporating pro-active monitoring of the network on a 24x7x365 basis.
